What Are Quilters Blogging About Today?

 Today I wanted to sleep but kept waking back up every few mins and finally decided to call it good. 

We cleaned house. I had the laundry going and cleaned the cat litter. Patrick worked on the rest of the bathrooms and then I vacuumed. I couldn't believe how much hair was picked up! Sophie is shedding again. I will have to make sure I vacuum a couple test more. 

Then it was time to have our virtual meeting. I worked on my class piece. Had to eat supper too because we had bowling tonight. 

 This morning we were up early and out the door. Patrick had his doctor appointment at 9 am. It turned out to be good news for now. 

After that we headed to Sharon's. We were there about 10 mins when someone came to clear out her trash in the garage. She asked if they could wait till we left and the answer was NO. I was shocked they did that. So, we had ...

This morning we were up early. I had a pulmonary appointment in Olympia. It's not through Kaiser. Which meant I would be waiting. My first appointment for breathing was at 9:40 am. My appointment for walking was at 10:45 am and then my doctor appointment was 11:40 am. We arrived early. Got in to the breathing test on time. Then waited...waited...and waited. I went to the counter to see if I was checked in for my walking test, since I was past my time. She said I was "next." The gal that did the ...

Today I started out with exercises and vacuuming. I wanted to clean the house a little before I was heading out the door to our Brazilian embroidery meeting. We had just 3 of us. It was really nice. We talked about some of the stitches in each of our projects. 

 This morning I didn't get out of bed till 10 am. I couldn't believe it. And then again, I wanted to sleep even longer. Patrick got up early and went golfing, so the house was mine. 

I started working on laundry, vacuuming, cleaning up the kitty litter, and what ever else I could find. Not sure why, since we are not having anyone coming over.  

Patrick got home about the time I finished with the vacuuming. We decided to sit and enjoy the new show "Wednesday" from the Adams Family on Netflix. I did enjoy it. It was ...

 Patrick went golfing and I ended up having most of the day to myself. Trouble was, things needed to be cleaned. So, I ended up vacuuming, mopping, cleaning litter, and laundry. It did take time but I was glad ot be able to just sit down and play games. 

Debbie stopped by to get some fabric because she cut hers wrong. We had plenty of that fabric. It was good to see her. She brought me some information on our veterans, so I have what I need. 

Mom called to say Nancy is having trouble talking. She's trying to ...

 This morning I was playing games. It's a way that I can relax but at times I don't want to do anything else. 

Cleaning day. So, I got 4 loads of laundry done as well as the kitty litter. I completely change the litter box on Sundays. It a good to get a few things done. Now I just need to find something to make for dessert or even cookies. I will try and find something like that later this week. 

Patrick woke with a sore neck. He's had that for a few days, but today seemed ...

Today was a big start for the day. Got up and had to work on getting a few of the applications corrected. We had some veterans that wanted to come to us and they went somewhere else. Working back and forth between my Trello gal and my boss was interesting but I did get it done. 

Then I had to go downstairs and help Patrick go through all the books in the bookshelf. I have 2 boxes of books to get rid of. I went through all my quilt books and regular books. Then moved what I wanted to keep ...

Today Patrick was off golfing. That left me with a day to myself. At least I THOUGHT that. 

I did laundry and decided to watch some folding techniques of clothes. I found another way of folding clothes that didn't take as long. It's amazing how many different ways to fold clothes. Let alone sheets! I am going to try one of the ways for sheets this Sunday when we change them. I had fun folding the clothes - that looks better than what I was doing. This morning Patrick was out the door. It was his golfing day. He was going to go with my brother tomorrow but my brother (Patrick) was sore after working on the farm. So, we get to enjoy tomorrow on our own. 

I was busy with playing games, vacuuming, and laundry. I wasn't sure what I wanted to do, so I pulled out my embroidery and went downstairs to see if I had the floss color I needed. I didn't but I found one that was close. 

Today is a beautiful day! Patrick spent the afternoon outside. I did try to sit outside and listen to my book while playing, but our internet didn't want to keep up. I gave up. 

Laundry is a never ending thing. I can say RIGHT NOW that there is no laundry to wash. As much as I would love to say, "I'm caught up!" I can't! We all know how that goes. I can have the laundry basket empty, looking great, and then someone puts a pile of towels, change of sheets, or more clothes in it. That ...

 This morning we woke to the phone going off that Flooding is expected by tonight (which it is). We got both a text and a call telling us the river by us is in the flood watch and was expected to go over the river levels tonight. Patrick's bowling league canceled due to flooding in Centralia. We found out Jackson Hwy is flooded as well. Then the other road we use to get to the freeway was also closed. Debbie was lucky to get home when she did. (She picked up fabric for her QOV quilt)

Today I was expecting Patrick to go golfing but it was called off. They decided the rain was in the way. So, instead, Patrick and I got back to straightening things up again. I changed the boxes that has my table clothes so I could use the box (air tight) for photos. We ended up with 3 full boxes of photos. Also had 4 boxes (downstairs!) of  genealogy. We throw out a few things and cleaned up other things. My china cabinet that I got from my grandmother was cleaned up and I moved the dolls into another container. I ...

 This morning there was a little more snow, but the roads were starting to clear. Patrick and I needed to go out and get a few things done. So, we headed out in Patrick's truck. We figured we should have gone in the Buick! lol We hit 10 places today! It was to the Bank, post office, Credit Union, Pharmacy, Connie's (got 4 quilts back), gas, Mom's, Home Depot, Walmart (ugh), and Safeway! Of all days! It took us about 2 1/2 hours to get around. Partly because of the weather. The roads were starting to ...

 Today we enjoyed being able to sleep in. The snow kept coming last night. We had a little bit of the sun show up, but not much. Still have a few inches on the ground. My poor hummingbird is having trouble with the food freezing. I will have to do food for her every day at this rate. 

We worked on getting my quilts out and figuring out which are going to be in the guest room and which are going in the cabinet downstairs. Then we worked on cleaning up a few things.

 Today we started out with more stuff to do. Patrick worked on getting the desk in the office. I worked on getting the Christmas Star bread going. Once that was started, Patrick wanted to go out and get a few things. First stop was Home Depot for the boxes we bought the other day. Of course, they didn't have the size I wanted. So, I will need to keep my eyes open for them again. Then we headed over to Staples. We needed the mat for the office chair. Didn't want it scratching the new floors. I also ...

 This morning I wanted to work on my beading, but didn't get the chance. I hope to do it tomorrow night when Patrick is bowling. 

Instead, today was working on getting the bedroom finished, working on getting the office and dinning room ready, and just cleaning up. We brought some of the boxes up from downstairs and went through them. I have the Japanese dishes back in the china cabinet. Need to get the doll back in there as well. Went through the books that I had in the bedroom and have a stack to take to moms. I ...

 Yesterday they finished up the floors. Then today Patrick went off golfing! I grabbed about 4 boxes of clothing and stuff. I was putting the clothes in the dressers and getting them put away. I was interesting trying to decide where each part of my clothing was going where. I figured it out. Laundry was running all day long. 

I took a little bit and worked on my beading. 

 I was out the door before the guy came back to work on the flooring. I ended up at moms for making fudge and peanut brittle. I wasn't planning on doing peanut brittle, but she really wanted that. That made my morning busy. We finished with the fudge and brittle when Nancy arrived to take mom to go get a hair cut. When they left, I left. I knew if I stayed she would have a ton of stuff for me to do all day. She even wanted me to do my own gift card on the computer. I ...

 This morning Patrick and I were up early so that we would be ready for the carpet people to arrive. Instead we got a phone call double checking that they had us signed up for 3 days. He then said he would call back. After about a half hour, he called back to say they were loading the van. This was at about 9:30 am. He arrived around 11 am. That was okay. Patrick talked to him to figure out what needed to be done first. They decided on the bedroom first.
